Inspired by the shape of eyeglasses and the architecture of the eye, the sustainably designed Holland Medical Eye Center employs luscious materials and dynamic architectural forms to enhance the customer experience. A suspended orange acrylic panel with fiber optic eyeball lights hovers above check-in, while a sensuously curved wall showcases the eyeglass frames. The eco-friendly materials palette includes sustainably harvested larch wood veneer, natural cork floors, a recycled resin door, and countertops made from recycled detergent bottles. Original art work was selected to compliment the architectural design and add a final touch of sophistication.
