Executive Express Chiropractic

Inspired by illustrations in the classic medical text Gray's Anatomy, Martinkovic Milford Architects infused an efficient and sustainable design for Executive Express Chiropractors with metaphors of human anatomy. The sinuous feature wall is based on the curvature of the spine and is skinned with panels made from pressed leather scraps. The design of the reception desk is topped with recycled white marble, and is shaped to suggest the leg bones, with the "knee" doubling as a meeting table. Open treatment areas are divided with suspended red panels, made from recycled resin with embedded silk fibers, and serve as an allusion to muscles.
